I have Indian Laurel hedges that I planted about 2 years ago. A couple months ago I started seeing some small branches dying, probably 1/8” to a 1/4” size smaller branches with a few off shoots. These Are all 5-10 feet tall and look very healthy. I’m not 100% sure that the all branches that died are ones I have pruned in the last couple months, but that could be a possibility. I just want to make sure I take care of this issue now before it becomes a bigger problem.

I amin Southern California and I usually do a deep water once a week. Maybe the issue could be from under watering? But like I said, they all seem very healthy and growing well.
