Oh, enjoy yourself. I haven't grown any this crazy busy year (my 92 yr old mother has been needing lots of attention) and I haven't stopped at the farmers market to check out tomatoes yet. I'm going to want some berries for the freezer too, I didn't have a chance to pick wild berries and have few left.

I'll be close to a great farmers market next weekend when going to a work reunion DH likes to participate in. Tomatoes, peppers (they have a peppers cart that just draws me in with the scent and colors!) and berries.

Bet your salsa is going to be beautiful.

Morz8, here's hoping you get to the farmers market to get all the tomatoes, peppers, berries and anything else you want. I wasn't able to grow much this year because my tractor and tiller have been down for over a year. I have tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, onions, Swiss chard, peppers, green beans and a couple of onions in containers on my front porch. There's only enough for fresh eating. Oh, and I do have some herbs growing. Hopefully, I'll be able to find someone with large zucchini they want to get rid of. I like zucchini relish as much as pickle relish. With working and taking care of my flock of chickens and ducks, my time and energy for growing all I want to preserve is shot.

I understand how hard it is physically and emotionally to be a caregiver. I did that with my grandmother (shared with my mother), my mother, partial with a brother, an aunt and the last was my DH until he passed over three years ago. I couldn't do it again. Take care of yourself.
