Guessing this is on the West Coast? Milgard usually makes it into that comparison as well as Amerimax.

You also need to break it down further as to which series within the lines that you are looking at.

I chose Simonton over Milgard because it has a better warranty. So I’ve narrowed it down to Simonton (Daylight Max) and Analin Coronado. Any thoughts on these 2?

Thanks for the feedback. Most of the windows will be casement which have a larger frame anyway. We do have a large picture window that we may not replace at this time but thinking of future... will this be a problem?

Is there a big difference between U factor 0.22 and 0.29? We live in Southern CA. Is 0.22 an overkill?

In Southern California, the slightly more important number is the SHGC.

Southern cal has the best weather in the country. 70’s all year round. At least by the coast. Inland gets very hot but the coast is great.
