So I know some people here get very annoyed at comments to very old threads that bring them up to the top of the forums. I just had an experience that might explain why this seems to happen more than some members would like.

While I was reading a thread, I saw a post in the "related discussions" sidebar - right at the top - that looked interesting, and I clicked on it, then added a comment. As soon as it posted, I noticed the last comment before mine was from 2014, so I deleted my comment.

Didn't somebody else describe a similar experience? Or am I imagining that?

Is this something houzz wants? Or might it be a glitch in their algorithm?
