your post is the third one that I've seen recently describing problems using Houzz..everyone is aggravated..I hope you can find a way to reach what you want..

Yes, houzz has been a real PIA here too lately. I have a shortcut to the Hosta forum but quite often it will open the houzz home page or other forums I've visited in the past. It just started doing this the past few weeks. I think it has caught a trait of our hostas...unstable!

And another thing, it also opens up "your topics", which is a combination of different forums I've used in the past. I was wondering why all of a sudden I am seeing totally unrelated posts on what i thought was the hosta forum.:(

Not certain if this helps but I have a place on my houzz that I can edit what I see so you can delete any other sites but hosta or what ever you choose and maybe then will go direct to Hosta site

I did have it all custom set up, and out of the blue, just like Old Dirt says above, it messed up. This morning on my Chromebook it is normal. On my Android tablet I am suddenly not even signed in. Thanks, Almosthooked. I was able to edit out ALL the other places and select only "hosta". I should have guessed that something got tweaked at Houzz, when I began to get messages regarding remodeling posts from 2007, and 2012.

I recently had some real issues myself. I had recently changed my email, but to change it they had to email a signin to the old account and then I could open the link to make the change. Problem was I had so many emails in the other account that it wouldn’t even open it. So round and round we went. I finally got it straightened out and when my new email went through I lost all of my idea books that I had saved! Now I am going back and recovering some of them, but what a pain! one of the problems I learned is there is no number for technical support of any kind.

There is a support telephone # but they like to keep it a secret apparently. The one Houzz gives on the site is only for difficulties with products. I called once and they gave me this # 1-800-640-8061. I thought I wrote down the hours but they are open really early in the morning and fairly late in the evening PST.

I used to get answers HERE but that was when Emily was around. She must have been too helpful and is gone as I haven't seen her since May or June.

peren..I tried the number you posted..options 1, 2 and 3 didn't apply and for all other questions they want you to email and someone will respond within 24 hours..has anyone else tried this number and were able to speak to someone about tech support?..I'm managing to navigate but I hate the changes..

Don't know what went kerflooey, but when I used that edit button that Amosthooked referred to, I was able to reset my preferences. Still don't know why my Hosta forum bookmark changed to allow "every forum I have ever posted on". All is working fine for me for now.

Djacobz- Seems like there was a hiccup in the software that got fixed, for most of us.

nicholsworth that is frustrating. I did say they were secretive about the #. The day I called I got a person right away. They probably changed that phone format immediately.

I had tried the normal email route, clearly explaining my issues but they kept asking for screen shots of what I could not see. How could I take a screen shot of what was not there? Duh, lol. I felt like I was being punked.
