Wondering if the Nootka is what gets sold as 'Glauca Pendula' - going by your picture it seems it might have that same sort of aqueous looking blueness.

(The trade may have weeping Nootka forms mixed - as seems to have happened with hedging types of Thuja plicata cultivars* - so even if you didn't get this one as 'Glauca Pendula' it might still be possible it is the same clone that is being presented to the market under that name).

*As I've mentioned before one local grower I talked to some years ago, that had a large block of at least one of these forms growing in a field actually told me that when he got inquiries on the phone the cultivar became whichever one they were looking for

Embothrium, a logger friend brought me a sack of Nootka seedlings from the edge of a logging road up in the Cascades.

Not a surprise, may horticultural clones of plants reflect normal seedling variation of the parent species. With Nootka cypress specifically the 'Glauca' cultivar has been said to represent a type that shows up rather often during the growing of seedlings. With the added blueness of the 'Glauca Pendula' being subtle enough that when I have pointed it out to a friend I have been asked why it was not 'Pendula'. I do have to agree that calling this form in particular "Glauca" ('Pendula') is a bit hyperbolic.
