Beautiful entry and home! That space does seem perfect for a grand / long console. I'm not a designer, but I'd probably try to fill around 2/3 of the wall.

I don’t think that every wall needs to be “filled” ... I prefer open spaces & I think a longer console table or cabinet, such as 58” or more fine , with art or whatever above it.

I would start with a runner or area rug in the space and then start to layer, whether it be a console table, bench, art, baskets, hooks, etc.

Sometimes, the rug alone will define the space for you and all you need to do is add art.

Even with your more modern furnishings, you could mix in a long and narrow Chinese Altar table for a more eclectic look.
