Your cabinets look like they have a panel, and that the top drawer does too. Top drawers/small drawers with panel can be tight squeeze with hardware, particularly bin pulls. You have to get you fingers up and in, but the pull is recessed in the panel. You need to think about the pull's profile to ensure you have enough space for a comfortable grip. Think about your hand size, your spouse's and your kiddo's. Also some people think bin pulls have a yuck factor, 'cause someone reaches in with crud on their fingers and the crud gets left behind. I also think black cups look disproportionately heavy. if you're going dark, go bars and/or knobs.
