In the UK the down pipes are at the four corners of the house ..can you do that ?

Should I use white downspouts even though the fascia, soffits and gutters are black?

Yes. I normally paint downspouts the same color as what is behind them so they blend in.

Why painted brick I guess is my first question/ But without pics I have no idea. Post the pics in a comment wait until they are no longer grayed then submit. The placement of downspouts depends on many things
