Why an accent wall at all and I have no idea of color without seeing the space with furniture and art that is where the accnet color is chosen not a random empty space. My first thoght was to cover those stone arches IMO they don’t really work at all in the space

There is no reason for an accent color in this space IMO. Paint it all the same color. Once furnishings & art is installed there will be plenty to look at.

Paint all the walls the same neutral ... I agree that it looks “choppy “ with the accent color.

@User those are tile panels going up the staircase and we think it looks so cool! This is how the house came, but we're trying to do small things to make it our own.
