Hi Everyone,

More than anything, I'd like to improve the curb appeal my modest home but it would be a great bonus if I could find a solution that would also provide shade as well. I live in the south with long triple digit summers and my house happens to face west so you can imagine what my electric bills are like.

I was thinking of adding maybe a tree at the left corner of the house or maybe something in front. The tricky thing is that my "front yard" is only about 5 feet deep and there is no sidewalk. I tried photoshopping some crape myrtles in with a pathway but it just seems out of place. Most of my yard is on the side and it slopes down from the road =/. Ideally the plants need to be drought tolerant. I bought 3 Tuscarora myrtles on sale that I can utilize. I greatly appreciate any ideas you have
