Ah, attack of the toddler with a Sharpie! Sorry this happened ... and WAS it a Sharpie/permanent marker? You might try one of these:

•Regular toothpaste mixed with baking soda

•WD-40

•Dry erase marker (go over the current marks and wipe off immediately)

•Rubbing alcohol

No guarantees, of course, and I guess it depends on how much you want to keep messing with it. I know you'd like to get this cleaned off before your company comes, but I don't think I'd go so far as to put contact paper on the front. If a guest coming to your house can't understand a toddler and an ink pen, then heaven help their befuddled little brains. ;-)

No to the contact paper. I’d try a damp Mr. Clean Magic Eraser with a little Ceramic (glass top stove cleaner). Good luck.

was the nail polish remover a stone or non-a stone, cuz regular acetone would've removed it without any problems. acetone also removes sharpie & other permanent marker as well as adhesive left behind from duct tape & other adhesives. if that doesn't work, look up some 'life hacks' to remove ink.

Is your door glass or plastic?

If none of those things work, go to the craft store and buy a cute decal to go over it.

Hairspray has been known to remove pen ink, worth a try.

This sounds like a plot in a Diary of A Wimpy Kid book.

I second the idea of a decal to cover it.

I would write the baby’s name on it and HOPE the company notices it !
