I am trying to figure out what color to paint the entryway / mudroom. It comes in off the garage and opens to a hallway. The majority of the house is a light grey so I wanted to do something with a little more color in this room. I was thinking about a blue color until I got home and realized the flooring is a very blue grey color. Now I am stuck and ready to go back to grey and be done with it!!

We are in the process of adding coat hooks into one of the closets. We did shiplap along the walls because the previous owner used silicone to adhere the previous shelves to the wall and removing them destroyed the plaster coating.

I am leaning towards white for the bench, shelves, and shiplap. What color for the actual room??
