A few more to share right now

New one for me this year . Fizziwig is one of the original striped daylilies being registered in 1998 by someone named J. Weston . I have wanted this one for a long long time so was very happy to get it this spring and actually see it bloom this year.

You can see the stress on the plants in this image . So many dead leaves at the bottom of the plants.

This one was taken in just the last week What a difference a little bit of rain makes.

What a nice variety! The photos that stood out to me the most were Upgrade and the one with Sears Tower and Love or Else.

It's great to see some blooms from your garden! Digging and transplanting iis such hard work, hope you finish soon. How often do you see spots on your Upgrade blooms? Love your Wonder of it All, I’m wondering if it would open well here. Green Rainbow caught my eye today too.

Upgrade looks similar to Purple Cheetah. How do you like Green Rainbow? I've heard different reactions to the color.

Fireblast and Green Rainbow are my favorites. I have Green Rainbow too and love it. Colorful and seems vigorous and good bloomer.

What nice pictures of Fireblast and Upgrade. They are so pretty. And a nice clump of Susan Weber. Although I have it, like Brad said, it does not perform well. Green Rainbow is pretty as well. Glad you posted in the middle of what sounds like a lot of hard work!!

Sears Tower lights up it's spot, and I like Green Rainbow and the edge of Wonder Of It All. You have quite a few blooming. ..........Maryl

Maryl Not all of these are blooming at this moment . These are images I took thru the daylily season until the drought hit . . Not all are great images (sorry about that ) but I finally got myself a white umbrella to aid in the picture taking although I admit it isnt easy trying to get at the blooms, hold an umbrella and take a picture all at the same time and then add the name . . I tried the white sheet of paper thing ......didn't work so I finally found a cheap white umbrella ...... much better .

Debra and Maryl Sears Tower is actually one of my absolute fav's . It isn't a fancy bloom but a big in your face brilliant yellow with great substance and a huge strong scape. It is still blooming here right now along with Love or Else. which was new last year . I have 3 clumps of Sears Tower and would love to have a wall of them being that it is so tall it would make a great backdrop.

Green Rainbow is a great daylily , lots of blooms , tall ( just like I like them ) it's only fault would be I would like a bigger bloom ......It is a comparatively small bloom for the size/height of the scape but the bold colors more than make up for that .

Brad , Susan Weber only just bloomed . We actually had some rain recently (not enough) but with that rain , Susan burst out of the gate with 6 blooms all at once . It was like she was holding her breath and then Wooosh! To be truthful , when she bloomed I stood there looking and thinking ........"now who the heck is that " She is surrounded by quite a number of others and isn't particularly tall . She is planted right beside Dean Corey 40 inches tall and she is only 26 ( and often not even 26 in my garden ) so she often goes unnoticed until she blooms . It is a good thing she is a late blooming daylily ......there is no competition from any other blooms when she does .

Lilykate , I wonder why Susan Weber doesn't work for you . It is a SEV so makes one think that it should do well farther south . Hmmm interesting !

Sherry Wonder of it All seems to be able to open no problems here and we do get cool mornings . I am sure down where you are there would be no problems. It is a real beauty !

Nancy6b Fireblast was a mistake . I had ordered Rosy Spiketail , 2 times from 2 different sellers and got the wrong plant each time . Fireblast was one that came in with the Rosy Spiketail name but not the Rosie Spiketail plant however the second seller was able to id the plant I got when it bloomed .

I'm interested in Fizziwig. There's been such a hoopla about stripes and spots lately, and here's an old variety showing stripes. Well, I guess Pink Stripes was quite a while back, wasn't it?

Lovely blooms - Elsie Stelter is the shape I like and Fireblast is a beautiful color!
