I've not been active on here for quite a while - but decided to get back at it. Back when the group was doing the Lotto Blocks and drawing names for the lot - I received a bright group of blocks. This summer was the time to pull them out and 'get 'er done'! My older sister had a late July birthday and I decided she would receive this bright beauty to wrap up in for her afternoon naps. She loves bright colors so it screamed her name. The block pattern was from Quilters Cache - Sunny Lanes. I opted to not add any extra sashing so the pattern would jump out. It was backed with a bright cheery pink (magenta) and a black binding. I was really pleased with the final product and she was thrilled with the gift. Thanks to all that made blocks to give me the opportunity to make someone happy.
