Depends on which variety, and which noses are sniffing them. Apparently. I personally find certain varieties in my garden reliably fragrant every season. First two I bought, Guacamole and Cathedral Windows, I had no idea they were fragrant varieties, I just thought they were beautiful.

I have had several. I don't think they are fragrant enough to get them for that reason. They are usually more fragrant later in the day, more toward evening. I would think you would have to have a large grouping to really get much fragrance. Of course, it just might be my nose.

I buy them because they do well in warmer climates.

I love their fragrance but it doesn't drift beyond the flowers, I have to bend down to smell it and that gets old. I didn't know any where fragrant until I smelled one by accident, weeding.

Fan! I love them, even though I have to bend to smell them. In my back yard I have a large number of Royal Standards and I can smell them when working in the area!

I'm a fan. I have a bank of old noid hostas along one side of my house and their flowers are like perfume.

Same here, Djacob. I have enough planted together so that when they're blooming, I can often smell them from certain areas in the backyard.
