A relatively new introduction of a selected form of a very hardy native plant. Enjoys the same conditions as any other shrub willow (provide adequate water). Attractive red tipped catkins in spring.

Not this cultivar - just the species. A little leggy/sprawly and typically wider than tall. Takes pruning very well, tho.

Notice the Bailey page you linked to in your original post says Iceberg Alley is a trademark (selling name, trade name) with the cultivar being 'Jefberg'. So it is Salix candida Iceberg Alley ('Jefberg'). (Note also that such terms are never correctly presented within double quotes).

Trade names like Iceberg Alley are often not unique to the plant introductions they are used to sell whereas modern combo or jawbreaker cultivar names like 'Jefberg' can - like US Plant Patent numbers, when a plant is patented - be used during searching to get specifically targeted results. With the patent numbers in particular the USPTO web site can be searched to bring up patent descriptions that provide background and detail frequently not presented elsewhere.
