I appreciate your encouragement! I am prepared to do the ammonia/water spraying. I have seen 10% to 25%. Do you have a recommendation?

I've never used that treatment (or any!) and I don't know the formula..I've had slugs but haven't done anything about them..they've never been a big issue but I have to admit..this year between the slugs and the pressure washer guy I have some less than perfect plants..someone here will know the best ratio of ammonia/water..

DH liked the 10% ammonia solution on his lettuce. We soak the leaves in salt water to get the slugs off. The ammonia really cut down the number of slugs that were crawling out of the sink when we cleaned the lettuce.
