i've heard they're similar to the Calif. Classics (which I just used. Mediterranean collection) I couldn't be happier w/them . 7", French Oak (white oak) Fumed. These are engineered, 8 coats of a matte top coat. i've dripped paint on them and it cleans right up. This flooring is also thicker than standard engineered flooring (5/8" I believe) and has a solid wood backing.

It's almost identical in finish to the provenza. I thought the sales person told me they were made by the same company.

that one is Granville, and I used their Kerrew (mediterranean) on my ceiling! (it's a little warmer toned)

We have had our Provenza engineered wood floors in our home for more than 12 years, and I still love them. Our's is like their Palazzo line; the name has changed since we purchased. There are some shallow scratches from the dog's nails, but they do not penetrate the finish at all; just little dents that you only see if the light hits it at a certain angle. There has been no discoloration or fading. I think that they are beautiful, and I am looking into putting the same floors in my bedroom soon.

Did you end up installing these floors? If so how do you like them so far? I am also considering these but in the Chelsea color.

I am considering Provenza as well and welcome feedback about durability. I did find a thread about Provenza elsewhere on houzz.

Hi Mary, did you use this wood? I would love, love to see pictures if you did! Provenza New York Loft West End is my first choice right now but I have only seen the samples so I don't know how knotty, how light or how much color variation it has. Thank you!!
