Tortoise shell beetle larvae, maybe?

The Logician ID’d a beetle larvae for me a while ago that had similar “fringes“ around the edges. Would this one also be one? I found a similar image on Google, but it was just an article about beetles using poop. No name on the picture. This one was pretty small, about 6 mm. Found on Morning Glory.
