What is your budget? The driveway looks like it needs to be replaced or resurfaced when you can afford it. One of the first things I would do is remove that planter area blocking the front entry .

Firstt hing is change the garage door to one with glass and wood look finish, take out the border there now of course get rid of the garbage can. A new front door in the same finish as the garage Black windows would be nice and unless you absolutely need all that cocrete I would remove that from the left side of the driveway to give you some real space for landscaping That fence needs some serious work again in thart same wood colorI like the color combo in your inspiration pic .Maybe post a picture from furthe back to show the dise of the garage too.

Thanks for info. You can get the dark windows-and-light-exterior look if you replace your current windows or if you can paint your white windows. I suggest you get three estimates for painting the exterior. In my area, it could easily eat up most of your $10K, especially if you get the fence painted, too.

The concrete walkway to the left of the garage looks like it has been lifted. There are pros who can repair that problem. If it's a tripping hazard (safety and insurance), it should be fixed before you have painters start work.

Also good to get estimates for gutters before it starts raining in fall.

The concrete walkway is getting removed currently and we are hoping to put down new concrete or pavers. As for the fence, we will likely sand and stain it ourselves so save on some cost and we definitely need gutters. Any suggestions on paint colors?

some type of hardscape would look great. (pavers, saltillo tile, etc). white stucco and dark charcoal trim. I just did mine w/these bottom 3 colors

(the white looks pink, but I assure you it looks white in person). it's hard to get a decent shot because the sun is always behind the house.

I'm also in so cal and have had these doors for over 8 years. They are not real wood. any local place can do these for you. (the hardware was added afterward. you can order carriage hardware on amazon)

You'll probably have to consider water restrictions in the future, so look into lots of hardscape and xeriscape.
