" all of these items are new so can't buy new"

    Dont like the color?

Meaning you don't want to stay neutral? Are you wanting COLOR?

Well, make a colorful floral arrangement.... Can you fit a buffet table and lamps?

You could paint or wallpaper the ceiling....

Want colored wall art? Place the mirrors in a hallway and add wall art?

    Imagine -

    Or other

    Larger floor mirror?

Exactly, the mirrors make the space quite cold. To warm it up is easy just replacing them with some coloured art.

I like neutrals, so I don’t want to add bright color. I’m not sure why I don’t like it, lol

The other side where you see the art, it’s a reflection from the hallway.

    the room .

i think that’s the best way to describe it, the room feels cold. What color art would look best? Don’t want to mess up again! It’s so expensive to buy new things, is it possible to warm it up with smaller accessories, or is that not enough?

    Ty everyone!

Oh and the rug is black, with tiny hints or grey and beige

Art would look better than the mirrors. If you start looking, you'll fine lots of art with neutral colors. Think about something lower for the center of the table. What you have looks too tall for meal conversation.

If you really can't buy anything new, then you can only 1)remove items and see if that helps (bar cart, rug, mirror(s) 2) shop the rest of your house and simply restage the space a bit.

If you can only spend a little,I would change the paint color on the feature wall. Either to match the rest of the walls or much, much darker. Darker would work best IF you lose the rug. Add accessories that you LOVE. Explore antique stores. Galleries. Museums and their gift shops. Look, really look at items, online. Build an Accessory idea board on Houzz. Don't buy anything until you know what you LOVE.

Some funds available? New rug. More funds appear? Then the light fixture.''

Adding art is another direction entirely.

You've got a great ceiling that you could highlight, if you dare... Paint it or wallpaper. This pic shows added moldings to frame the ceiling

    Be bold?

Add touch of of color from your centerpiece arrangement with lumbar pillows. These are an easy DIY to change with the seasons. Find some on clearance and cover them in the color of your choice

Hollybar I have always hated the wall color. I can switch out the rug and use it in another room. Is the light fixture too cheap looking? Clashes?

ltovar34, Remember,I am not in your house,I'm just reacting to a pic online.... the chandy just doesn't look to do anything special for the space. Too inconsequential. Notice how in the large mirror pic DK Haas posted above, that chandy really enhances the sophisticated drama in that space. Does this so well,it is worthy of reflection ;-) Also notice that in that terrific space, they used just a relatively small % of very dark color (the mirror frame and the chair legs) to create a dynamism in a very restricted palette. (greige, gold, and whatever the dark color(s) is)

Hope you post more as the room evolves. And don't lose sight of the fact that you have created a great looking space that just needs a few tweaks to make YOU happy.

I actually have felt the same about the Chandalier, but I waited months for it to go in sale, then I couldn’t return lol. I look at a room but can’t really tell what’s wrong, you seem great at that, ty! I will definitely keep posting :)

It's a pleasant looking room but lacks color. You might consider painting the mirror frames your favorite bold color.

I did not realize I could do that, ty!

Beautiful room, just needs some color. Try gathering some colorful objects from other rooms so we can see what colors you like. Or pick out some flowers you like at the grocery store for a bouquet. Painting the accent wall in a new color would be easy.

IMO I would not add any color to this calm sophisticated room, it is well put together as is, enjoy it.

The easiest thing to do is add color with a plant.

you're saying it 'looks so bland'. well, it's because all you have is grays/white/black. It's a pretty room, but it needs some life/color.

bring in some flowers or art, as suggested.

I love the idea to paint the tray portion of the ceiling an actual color! would look great w/all the neutrals. If that's too much for you, then try one of these

lining the tray portion w/wood planks would really warm it up and give it some dimension.
