We recently moved into this mid-century house that is kind of a split level with a rather visually overwhelming deck on the backside. It clearly needs some work - we're working on the inside first, but would like to paint the exterior as a quick change (try to ignore all the other issues!). We are having a hard time choosing colors. The front has brick, a turquoise-colored stone at the entryway and a fence we're keeping for now. The back has two stories, like a split level, and the deck, which is nice to have so we're keeping it, but rather ugly. I'd like to minimize it's appearance. We live in the Pacific NW so want to stay away from dull or grey-based colors, since that's the sky 3/4 of the year. We're considering an orange/terra cotta color, or perhaps a deep blue-green, or a kelly green, maybe with a cream colored trim. We're also wondering about the possibility of a different complementary color for the lower level in the back.

Anyone have any ideas? Sorry the pics are from my cell phone and shadowy, but you get the gist.
