I would look into cable lighting where you will get the light where you need it You can even run it to have drops above end tables and the nice thing is you can change the position of the heads how ever you like and even add some get the LEDs for sure and U use Tech lighting for the one I install

I think the lighting could look nice in the center or above the seating area so you get more lighting. Or maybe center is better so you see the fixture when you walk in the door :)

Which direction does the vault run? What will the style of the room be?

Large room to work with. Is the fireplace built-in or just a moveable electric fireplace?

What would you like your focal point to be? That will affect your lighting layout.

Peak is above the fireplace. It is a built in fireplace. Space is mixture of farm house and rustic. White walls. natural pine plank ceiling. Medium brown wood floors.

Cindy has it been built? do you have photos of the interior? Would a large rustic chandelier in the middle be appealing to you with can lights for additional lighting and then table lamps for ambient lighting?

I don't understand your furnishings layout for your room. Perhaps this layout might be better suited for the room.

It is in progress. Wall framing but no roof windows and doors ordered. Furniture not purchased but I do have 2 brown leather chairs that need to be used. 1 recliner and one swivel chair with ottoman.

That is a lot of chairs! Its a large room and to make it visually centered you really need to bring the furniture off the walls. With 4 chairs you may want to consider a sofa instead of a sectional. You can float the sofa facing the TV then have your swivels flank fireplace like Beverly is showing and you other two with their backs to the entrance. Back to lighting I would consider one or two large chandeliers coming down from the center beam with canned lighting .
