20 x 200 and Red Bubble are two I've used and appreciated for the quality. I've bought paintings on ebay as well but that was over a decade ago. Don't know if the offerings are as plentiful now. Are you looking for a particular style?

I have found something I like at Art.com and Minted.com I also found things I liked at a local art museum gift shop but they are too small and very expensive. The 2 sites mentioned are much more reasonable in price. Minted gives you a little information about the artist and where they get their inspiration, which I enjoy reading.
