I agree, everything melds together into one color. I would paint the entire space a color you love and find relaxing. NO to accent wall.

Skip the accent wall and paint ALL of the walls. Right now everything is feeling flat because it blends into one another. Window treatments would be great too.

are you keeping that bedding? it's just that the sheet colors and spread are a dull bark color. maybe something a bit lighter?

those mini blinds have got to go. try some inset cellulars, Silhouette or roman blinds. even a modern solar shade would work.
