Who Makes Best RTA Cabinets?

I have been looking at the RTA Cabinet Store and Lily Ann Cabinets for white shaker RTA cabinets. However, I'm not sure if these are the best 2 options, or if there are better companies to consider?

Conestoga is the best RTA’s available. Scherrs would be second best. Barker third. I would never use any of the Chinese RTAs that you are considering.

I’ve used Conestoga 4 times - twice in my house and twice in friends’ houses.

My top 3 RTA would be IKEA, Barker, and Conestoga, and if you’re not looking at these, you might be buying junk. IKEA is made of MDF, Barker is made of plywood. Can‘t remember, but I think Conestoga gives you either choice.

Assembly on IKEA is really the standard against which all RTA are measured. The assembly hardware on Barker cabinets is better than on Conestoga, but with the Cabinet Joint (Conestoga) you get more help with the ordering, which is really valuable.

The IKEA doors are not for me and I’m planning on using another company for them. The doors at Barker are fantastic. Conestoga has the most door types.

I know this thread is old but wanted to post for newer people who are considering Cabinet Joint:

PLEASE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY unless you want damaged cabinets and no support!

My cabinets came cracked and damaged. They just left my damaged cabinets on the streets of Manhattan without calling me beforehand. Some of the items are not sized correctly and they do not tell you that.

Cabinet Joint is very badly run and will not offer support if things go wrong. Over half of my cabinets came with damage (See pictures of examples - there are more than 25 cracks on the cabinets) and the customer has to figure this out themselves.

Cabinet Joint is extremely unwilling to help and want to place all the blame on their shipping company. See other reviews who have said the same thing.

My cabinets coach was dismissive, condescending and passive aggressive in handling my situation when the majority of my cabinets arrived damaged. The owners want me to edit my reviews so they can hide my bad experience. Instead of helping me, the owner just said that I had "heightened emotions" and told me to edit my review.

Sorry for your bad experience. We’ve purchased Conestoga cabinets from Cabinet Joint 3 times (2 kitchens and some fireplace cabinets) and found them very helpful and a great product.

The one mistake in our kitchen Cabinets they immediately rectified. We had no damage on any cabinets. Your experience is opposite ours but when it leaves the factory they are at the mercy of the shipping company. I believe any damaged pieces will be replaced.
