My cotoneaster dammeri is very distressed. There are tiny brown spots on the underside of the leaves, which are yellowing. I sprayed it with an insecticidal oil a month ago. Should I do it again or is it pointless at this stage of the season? I have cut back branches that appear dead, but am wary of pruning at this time of year. I will be very sorry to lose this!
