You do not have room for anything at all across from the table. Remove everything except the orchid from the table, so you have room to set things down when needed. Other than de- cluttering, the main thing I would do is change your light fixture to a chandelier or semi flush mount. If you are open to it, I would replace the giant clock with a mirror instead.

Clock needs to be hung higher. I would get a chunkier planter for the flowers in a tone that matches the colors of the table. Put only one other item on top of the table. Too many things there. The table is large for this space and I would like it take up the room alone. I would not put anything on the wall across from it. If it bothers you being blank, then a simple mirror on the wall might be nice.

I agree with Calidesign, you don't have room for anything else except maybe a rug runner. I find your current decor looks disjointed. Remove everything on top of your console. Replace the night light with a hall table lamp. Add a large decorative bowl for keys and sunglasses. Replace the overly large clock with a round mirror the same size. And that's it. Keep everything functional and it will make sense. Just have the large bowl and lamp on the console so there's room to put stuff as you come and go. Also add a colourful rug runner.

Thank you all for you honest design advice. I have decluttered the table and it does look much better. I will switch out ceiling light when I have the opportunity. I will being to look at other items that was mention in the design advice. Thank you all so much.

Nothing or some wall art. Be sure it looks not busy and clattered.

Hello Designers! What about a picture to go with console Table?

My priorities would be to 1) replace out of place oversized clock with a mirror (last minute exit/ entry hair checks, etc), 2) replace "boob" light with hanging light(this ties with first priority for me. Shudder), 3) declutter table (place a nice bowl or small basket for keys, mail, etc);theres too much on there now that doesn't look very functional, 4) Add an appropriate sized piece of favorite artwork across from table.

A new light fixture would be a good start. Remove the huge clock and get a piece of art for above the tableIMO a nice vase with real flowers and a bowl to drop keys in are all the decor you need on the table a mirror only works if it reflects something worth seeing twice BTW
