I simply love having friends and family stay over and share great comfort foods and good wine.

Fairly rarely. We have been living here for 2 years and a half and have had 2 overnight stays. One for a week and the other one for 2 nights.

On average I host about 3 -4 times every three to four months, but now it is down to zero as they have move away to another state, but I did love hosting with a a good dinnerr and some wine and fun dessert and lots of talk and laughter

I have guests every single week.

    never

Once a year, at the holidays.

I rent my my extra room out to female medical students as it is a share bathroom. Medical students do their rotations either for 2 weeks or 1 month. I usually host 2 to 3 students a year.

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?><md>As I thought about this question it dawned on me that I have very few stay over guests in a year...made me wonder why I have a guest room!

We have guests maybe 2x/year. But I have outfitted our guest rooms to a "T". They look great, but I made sure the window covering provided plenty of darkness and that the beds are comfy as well. So far, only compliments (to our faces anyway LOL).

Small family, half of which lives close and the rest live WAY out of state and do not visit. We rarely have an 'overnight' to the point of having a redundant guest room.

No room at the Inn. Though we do have floor space and air mattresses for sleeping bags. No one seems to want to take us up on this.

We have a very large family. We love having guests including grandchildren. Filling our home with all that extra love, happiness and companionship is some kind of wonderful!

We live in Vegas, need I say more?

I have guests on a regular basis. We have family all over the state of Texas and they like to come to our home. I love having guests and apparently guests like coming here.

    never ..

Where is the button for once a year? Or 1-3 times a year?

I’ve bought my retirement home on a lake so I’m hoping I get a lot of visitors. The view is incredible and it came with many amenities. My dream would be to run a Bed and Breakfast.

    I run a B&B, sooooo. Constantly.

    Mostly kid's friends for sleepovers.

Like Carrie's comment we love filling our home with lots of love, happiness and companionship. We also apparently have such great holiday parties that our friends and family don't want to leave, even if every sofa is occupied. I'm definitely thinking about getting a murphy get and converting my sewing room into a dual purpose guest room/sewing room/telework office!

Oops--I meant "getting a murphy bed".

Once a year or two years my parents from overseas. A couple of times a year my uncle and/or aunt / cousin.

My kids cousins are here several times a week and once every so often they have a sleepover. However those I don’t consider guests .

Our travel trailer is used as our guest room in the summer, at least once in the summer. We have a guest room in the house, but our house is small with one bathroom, so our usual guest is a grandchild sleepover.

We live on a lake in Muskoka (cottage country). Guests every weekend during summer and frequently in the winter.

In my old place, we hosted people 5-6 times a year. Now that we’ve moved to the mountains it’s a regular thing. I enjoy it.

    With only one bathroom...never.

We live in Florida and often have various northern state relatives come stay with us for weeks at a time. We have a big house with a separate guest suite on opposite side of the house. We have small children and welcome the family to visit because the kids love it and we appreciate the help.

I have a guest room that has never been used. Figure I would be better off converting it to gym and if guests ever need a place to stay I will pay for a room at a nearby hotel.

Overseas relatives come for the holidays every year!

We rarely host people in our year-round house. At our summer cottage our kids and grandkids stay, but I don't consider them guests.

    Once a year

At our last house we had a dedicated guest room and used it four times in the four years. at this house, no one visits us and since we hate the house and the city, we don't want to host anyone. I would have thought when we lived in Germany we have more guests but nobody could afford to flyover except for one set of parents. I hate sleeping over at other peoples homes and the only time I do it is when I visit my in-laws in the Caribbean.

No matter how many times we have overnight guests, I don't want to waste precious room space on "guest rooms". I love the stow away beds in the wall, by putting them in several rooms, we can choose the best room to meet any guest's needs, which can be quickly set up before arrival. With a dresser discreetly tucked away in a closet, guests can be comfortable with little effort, and we don't have to live with the "bedroom" look all the time. This allowed us to have a "guest room in the media room, sewing room, and when the grandkids come, several pull down bunk beds in the rec room.

    Fun question!

ALL the damn time in our tiny little condo, my niece and nephew and all their millennial friends LOVE to come because we live in the city.

I cram them all in one tiny room with blow up beds and specific bathroom times. It looks like the 3rd day of Woodstock.

They're tickled to not have to fork out for an expensive NYC hotel.

I threaten them all the time that I'm going to end up living in an RV in their driveway someday, the look of horror on their faces is priceless.

Once a month on average. We live in the city and when family or friends come to LA from a suburb for a concert, as an example, they may crash at our house.

We have guests whenever I run mindfulness and meditation retreats with horses; we also often have friends and family staying. Might have something to do with the fact that we live in the south of France.

No place to turn off audible notifications that I can find. Does anyone know where I could do that. Very annoying, especially on a Sunday morning.
