I tried to post earlier this week (with a couple photos attached) and got a timeout, for the first time. I need to try again, but maybe Houzz is having some issues.

Houzz is always having "issues." It's a real amateur hour and does not inspire confidence.

Fwiw, I was able to post this morning. Not sure why I couldn’t before, but this time I was posting downsized photos I’d emailed to myself rather than full sized ones right off the iPad. Or maybe it’s because the wind was blowing from the east, rather than the west :)

Yup. This seems to be a glitch they fixed fairly quickly.
