IMO stainless is still the best choice for sinks and works with every counter top.

I have an Elkay quartz Luxe undermount double bowl in Parchment. You must rinse it immediately when emptying glasses of coffee, iced tea, soda, cranberry juice,tomato juice, any sauce or gravy. Also, the rings around the disposal and drain collect discoloration or yucky stuff - this may be our water system. I often wish I had a darker color or my old Kohler sink.

Thank you Patricia. I had a SS sink in my previous home in the city, which had hard water. It scratched and showed water spots over time. In our current home we have a water softener, but I plan to get protective grids whatever we purchase., as we have kids at home.

If I am not mistaken, the manufacturer recommends the InSinkErator disposal. We were hoping to keep our practically new Badger brand. We do have a water softener and I am hoping that helps a bit. I realize stain resistant is not the same as stain proof, and we will be washing coffee and sauce off regularly. I appreciate your advice.

The Elkay Quartz Luxe is probably my second best selling sink. I won't show the bright white (Ricotta) sample to my potential customers and so far have only sold one off white (Parchment). My first Marciano (bright red) is going in next week. I can't wait.

No Badger with a Quartz Luxe. Insinkerator, or an identical style, is the only disposal that works with this sink.

It's bright white. I don't want to hear about how it's performing in a year. It may be fine, but in these interwebby days, it's an unnecessary business risk I don't have to take.

Joseph, we are doing a new build. I like this sink. You mentioned its your second best selling sink. Wondering what your best seller is? Do you have experience with the silvermist color (staining/watermarks)? Do you have any installation tips I could pass on to my builder? I really appreciate all your very helpful adviice...thanks.

I sell the Kohler 3821 undermounted most of all. Silvermist is a very popular color; I have to wait on mine. I retrofit all my sinks; your builder should have no trouble if the top goes on last.

Considering the Elkay Quartz undermount sink in Marachino (red) for my new kitchen. Has anyone tried this color sink?
