Laundry Setups, Please Post Pictures and Share Details.

I just set up my 3 set of an older used Miele washer and dryer. I have a nice setup in my main floor bathroom for the 4th set. I call this basement area my Laundromat, and wash all my DH dirty farm clothes here. I wish @mamapinkyo was here to see this, she'd love it.

I still have to get the plumber out to install a drainage system for this set and install my laundry sink. The electrician needs to come and set up a new set of outlets for this 3rd set. I also need to vent the dryer to the outside. This set runs nicely, but I have to switch the discharge hose and the electrical cords to run them, so essentially I still only have 2 sets running at a time. I'm making progress. I love having these machines, haha.

I always leave the water valve shut to the washers between washing days.

Love the set up. Are you planning on using multiple machines at the same time? Or are different machines for different kinds of loads? Yes, Mamapinky would have loved that set up. I really miss her.

Thanks George for posting your setup. I like the accessible shutoff valve and the tidy venting that you have.

@hcbm I will use them all at the same time when I get the electric and water drainage setup. I only have those hookups for 2 sets at this time. My plumber has been over and laughed, but he's onboard with getting it how I want it.

That's wonderful Enduring! You have a Miele showroom in your home. :) The water connections look like an octopus is coming out of the wall. Ha.

I feel like MamaP is smiling and approves. Miss her.

Sea Sea, I was a little skeptical about getting that outdoor water gadget but I think someone on the Automatic Washer forum had one, so I thought what the heck. It seems to be working ok. I have 3 hots and 3 colds coming off the main. the plumber wasn't alarmed. I keep the main valve off when not in use just in case the system fails.

So far George is the only one that has shown his setup! Thanks George, now how about you others? What do you like about your setups? how do you store things? do you have fun deco in the area?

Linus! I forgot to thank you for your post. You are my most helpful friend! You have been so supportive of my Miele projects! :))) do you still have your phenomenal laundry set up? I remember the mangle.
