I am rebuilding my home and I am trying to figure out the best kitchen/diner layout.

There is a large light well coming down from the roof, through the first floor at the rear of the kitchen (the rectangle around the table in the plan below identifies the size and location). There is also glass sliding doors at the rear of the house.

I wonder whether it would work better to swap the location of the island and the table so the table is closer to the glass doors at the rear of the house. Slightly concerned that the table will interrupt the flow from the living room through to the kitchen.

Would love any thoughts you might have on this or other aspects of the design!
