How to dress this window

Should I have two curtains on either side or four curtains (1 either side and 1 either side of the central doors. Also on a covered lathe or custom made bay pole. Two curtains will be very bulky in width as the window is very wide but 4 curtains will hide the woodwork. Thank you.
