My friend made one several years ago. She used templates and hand pieced it. (We found the templates when we moved her from her farm.) I don't think I'll ever be that good at quilting. It's certainly a beautiful quilt.

I've never made one but have seen a few that have made me sea-sick! It's all in the shades of the fabrics that are used and the layout. Some really give that 3-D look to me. :-)

Wow, all the variations are beautiful. Seems like it would take so much planning and patience. Probably not for me. Ha!

I haven't made one, but it is on my bucket list. AccuQuilt now has a Storm At Sea die, but can't get it till it goes on sale.

I have always wanted to make one and even bought a special ruler by Creative Grids. It is still on my bucket list.
