And my second question is to add or not add an appliance garage on the other wall. We have had them before and really love them. Here are some images showing with and without on the far right end of the window wall. I know the lowers are different but just deciding about the appliance garage right now. I do have a very large island so I'm ok on counter space.

I have an appliance garage very similar to yours (same location and look) - I love it.

I like your new design a lot. Not a pro or expert, I think the pullouts would be fine near the range.

i am wondering about your far left cabinet next to the fridge. is that your pantry? You have drawers, then a small middle cabinet, then a tall top cabinet, and at The very top glass. Are the long top parts full depth (24”)? Are they pullouts or just cabinets? my concern is that the middle cabinet is too small to be really useful (or are those just big doors designed to look like separate cabinets)? Also if not pullouts the 24“ depth may be tough as things will get lost in the back. I’d personally want either shallower uppers (and maybe combine the middke and top to be 1 larger cabinet), or full pull outs.

IMO 12” drwers for gadgets are useless why not have the base drawer cabinets have a split top shallower drawer for gadgets and even cutlery where you have dish storage I dislike thoce cabinets that sit on the counter they make that part of the counter useless I don’t like appliance garages but that is just me .I like true pullout pantries so no drawers at the bottom at all and for sure with 24” deep pantries. IMO walk in pantries are a waste of space in most cases I store pretty much everything in pullouts and I run a catering biz from home

Maybe it’s not 12”? But this is what I was thinking of on either side of range. Then 30-33”

The 12" pullouts that flank my range top pack a lot of storage in a small footprint. The left side is utensils, spatulas and knives https://www.rev-a-shelf.com/p-513-base-cabinet-pullout-knife-utensil-base-organizer-blumotion-soft-close-sink-and-base-accessories.aspx and the right is a deep drawer with partitions for baking sheets, cooling racks, splatter screens and foil with a drawer above for pot holders. All of these items would not have fit into a 24" drawer base. If you like the spice pullouts go for it. I don't think that it will look weird.
