Personally, I like #s 1 and 4. Their slim length-to-height ratio is more interesting than the traditional #2. The shield shape is pretty, but doesn't seem to go with your craftsman style cabinets. May also be more difficult to install (if you're doing it yourself). Good luck! Your kitchen already looks lovely and warm!

Thank you, I think I like the elongated look as well. We were also considering a blue color but I worry it will look too dark (didn’t have a pic of them together but the blues are below)

I like the picket fence option or a 3x6 subway, not the smaller option as you previously posted.

The simple the better bc you already have a pattern on your doors.

can you post photos of the adjoining spaces? what is the paint color?

Nice cabinets, and the lines are vertical - herbflavor has point - in a way you don't need little or any tiles and going horizontally.

Another vote for 4 (favorite) or 1 (next favorite). There are things we might not be able to see in a pic like the best color tone match so keep that in mind - you are the one standing in the space.

I’d opt for slightly bigger tiles, not a fan of the mini brick... so many grout lines! I do like the elongated hex (far right in second last pic, and sitting in pile in last pic). I’d run them vertical, I think, as opposed to horizontal. Or more normal sized subway... 3x6, or 2x8 if you want longer skinnier...

I like the herringbone one, is that out of the running?
