Donna, could you explain your set-up? That looks like a domestic machine.

Good for you to get started. That's the hard part sometimes.

Lois, it’s a Hinterberg frame and a Juki TL98Q machine with a 9” throat. It’s straight-stitch only, but it can go really fast and makes a much better straight stitch than my BabyLock machine. It’s a great setup for quilts up to double size, but queen and king can be a real challenge!

I didn’t start quilting yet. We went out to run errands then had dinner. Tomorrow I’m playing clarinet at three church services, but hopefully I can get started quilting after lunch.

LOL, Karen! The clarinet solo went well, all three times. But I’ve just been relaxing all afternoon instead of quilting. Maybe tomorrow.

And quilting is finally done! Now I just have to sew on about a mile of binding.:)
