The house seems featureless ... like a thin-lipped face. I'd consider adding some trim to the windows.

You may not want that tree, but you need some tree and approximately in the same vicinity. Could use a small/medium one off of the right corner, too

The picture is dark and from kind of far away. Would be easier to see if you photographed in daylight, lined the camera up with the door, stood at the drive and took 3 barely overlapping pictures of left, right and center.

The windows are being done in a week or two, went with white trim. and in the summer there are lots of tall flowering plants that go along the left window. it's kind of hard to get a good picture as everything is covered in snow now, and it's usually backlit and shady but I'll try later today

Let's forego the additional pictures.

I'd try to keep the landscape simple ... fewer, larger things.

another thing I've thought of was bringing the raised part (on the left) down to ground level and parking there. we now park off to the left of the deck. My kids school bus uses the round driveway to turn around in so we don't park there

I like the mature trees, but would not be opposed to doing a nice landscaping job in front. I think you need new colors and a prettier front door. Add some decorative trim around the windows and see if you can go with a three color scheme. A pendant light over the front door and snazzy house numbers. Looks like the kids like to abandon their bikes there - give them a cute bike rack or some solution to just dumping them out front.
