What is the marble looking tile going to be used for, shower walls or floor? It may just be the photo but that tile looks quite warm/yellow and I think something cooler toned would be a better choice.
You asked about paint colours or tile, and I don’t feel you need to tile the wall. Paint should be chosen after the other elements are installed, but it’s helpful to have a direction. Check out light neutrals with a purple undertone like BM American White or BM Abalone.

Hi Darra, I think the herringbone tile has a bit yellow undertone and a busy pattern for such a small bathroom if you really like it and want to keep it make sure to choose a solid colour for the bathroom floor (especially non-slippery tile for kids). Also, you can choose porcelain and ceramic tiles that look like wood all over the bathroom floor like the picture below so you would not separate the shower, which will make your bathroom look bigger.

I love that vanity you chose and if the marble on the vanity is stark white and your grout line in the shower is white chose white for your paint, (we have lots of whites make sure matches with your vanity marble and tiles otherwise different undertone will give you bad result) always have one piece of your final materials with you when you go choosing the paint or if you like gray you can choose the gray matches your marble and tiles. Paint colour should be chosen very last after you finalize your materials.
