Sorry but to me those do not match the front door and also IMO the front door looks like a church entry I think you need to keep looking maybe something more like this with that door

thx for comments - I have a sample of the material for the garage doors and it does match in person. I am considering changing out the front door but hate to waste $2,000 spent by former owner. Do you have other ideas for both?

I worry that this option would be too blahhhh. The entry door is not seen from the street and the house is so all one color. The 4 palms in the front and the flowers in the front yard do add some color. The house seems to need some dark or other interest since it is all so light. I would place some potted plants in front. Other Ideas?

Because of the massing of your home, it looks like a garage with a house attached to it. I would do everything to make the garage doors more attractive since they are the single most prominent feature of the building.

Beverly - exactly as I was thinking with the wood garage doors! The 2 garage doors are really the entirety of the front of the house, with the stucco upstairs stuck on the top!

I think you should add the wall pergola and the bougainvillea to your home.

I went with a very economical glass Masonite door painted it to pop. I am going to place a bronze glaze over it. The garage door I went with a taupe to match the window frames. I didn’t want to out shine The front door. I only paid $750 for the 36 in door -?in your case you could also place sidelights if you went with a single door, instead of a double door. My Reno is still a work in progress.

I think the wood look garage doors add some much needed warmth and contrast to the facade of your house. I think adding the pergola awning over the garage entries will really boost the character of your home. Its style is made for this type of embellishment and it would all be very cohesive. Since the front door is not seen from the street , and therefore it is a moot point whether it matches the garage doors or not, I would paint it a nice vivid color to give it an updated, more modern look, as well as adding to the character of the courtyard. A bluish teal color on the door with some colorful ceramic , plant- filled pots would be nice.Two tall planters flanking the entry walk to the courtyard would also look nice.

You can also add a gate between the 2 garages with horizontal boards Stained w a transparent stain or paint to make it pop. That would give you a private closed off front patio. (Since the front

Since there is such a large expanse of concrete, I think staining it something like a lighter shade of the color of your roof tile would ground the house more and the drive could become more of an asset rather than just a sea of concrete.— To take everything up a notch even more, perhaps sometime in the future, consider installing a metal gate between the pillars of your courtyard entry.
