Range Hood Material

Kudos ... The minimalist, contemporary detail while maintaining the rustic feel of the home is brilliant! **Can you please tell me something more about the range hood? What is the exterior material and is it custom designed and built using necessary parts for CFM's, etc ...? It's the best looking one I've seen yet in this category that I've been looking for. Thank you in advance for your response! Cheers!

Thank you very much! Yes, the range hood is a custom hood with exactly what you said on the inside. It was fabricated by a metal guy here in Phoenix, and it's made of Cold Rolled Steel. It's a very large scale to work in this room: 7' wide x 1' high, with the chimney 18" wide. The backsplash below is made of the same metal.
