Any stone that has a lot of mica in it will be a problem as a counter. Too bad, cause the sparkle of the mica is so beautiful. If just a bit of mica here and there, it should be fine. You might have a couple rough spots in the counter from a little bit of mica. But if there’s a lot of mica, expect fissures and cracks.
