It is the sister seedling to Eyes for You. Are there mildew issues where you are? Bull's Eye was introduced because it would produce at least 60% Grade 1 plants, but mildewed. Eyes for You would not "crop", but also doesn't mildew.

Im sooo purchasing

I have two of these both planted on north side of my home. One gets more sun than the other. These are fantastic foliage plants. Their thorny but their roses! I planted them properly here in zone 7 in North, Alabama 4 years ago. Both are, well unremarkable! Ill never dif them out because my yard is big & I've got plenty of room. They grew fast & both grew into nice shrub shapes. I researched for the rose with the most black spot resistance other than knockouts & this is what came up. Actually in my case they don't ever have any black spot, mildew or any other diseases. Its the blooms I'm not happy with. The blooms are small. It has the rush of blooms in the spring & really it should not be considered a rebloomer. It may always have one tiny bloom but that's about it. It needs deadheading more than any rose I've ever had & I'm lazy & don't have the time. Gardening supposed to be fun and not work. If I didn't have 50 bushes & just a few I'd dead head but its impossible in my case & if I could only have a few I'd never choose this unless you must have a rose you can't kill & is not noticed by anyone. The flowers in real life look similar to the pics online but not near as colorful. The eye is unremarkable too. The blooms are about the size of a quarter. It simply does not stand out, The blooms will not hold up in a vase though there is a bit of fragrance...nothing special. I'm keeping mine but I'd never make the purchase again. I got what I asked for thinking all rose blooms must be beautiful. Its the ultimate in disease resistance especially in the humid deep south. I would probably dead head if the blooms were really worth it. I think it would make a nice potted rose. The tiny blossoms would be at eye level & you could move it during the long period of just 1 bloom a week. Its the only rose Ive ever seen anyone use on both sides of an entry door potted. Its that hardy but its very thorny so you would have to stay on top of it so it would not snag guest. Its has its pros & cons. In my huge rose garden its here to stay but if I could only have a few I'd pull it....or give away. It does not have suckers. The plant is fantastic....its the blooms & lack of blooms I find boring. I don't mind the thorns. I hate to be so harsh on this rose but it's also expensive. Buy 1 & try it out.....trust me unless your thumb is missing you won't buy 2. Happy 4th! Sorry 4 typos.
