Fall/winter, yes. Just Christmas? No. I love it.

It depends on the bedroom and home. IMO if is a male's bedroom or a bedroom in a rustic style home, cabin, mountain home or log home then to me it doesn't say Christmas. In the bedroom pictured above it screams Christmas.

what the rest of the house/decor? For myself, it would fit in to our house and I would use it late fall to spring.

Well, Christmas pretty much goes October 1 through January, so yes, it screams Christmas. I have Christmas sheets, and get them out the day after Thanksgiving.

For me, the green makes it very Christmas-y. I do love red plaid--and would use it whenever I want--just not this one. Or, maybe that is grey and not green? on my monitor it looks green.

Works for me any time. I got a credit card once just because it was plaid; and I am not the least bit Scottish ;-)

That is so strange, it does look very green in that picture (WS catalog pic) but it is actually charcoal gray, no green at all.

Yes, it could be used as "Christmas" only bedding, but it doesn't scream Christmas at me but it does read masculine and I think it could be used all year in the right room. To "Christmas" it up -- a white pillow with a felt evergreen or a pillow with a Santa would be appropriate.

English country manors are done that way because their heating systems are crap and the houses are always freezing. The last time I stayed in mine I almost slept in my clothes instead of my pajamas because it was too cold to chance.

Plaid means winter (to me). This plaid is black,red and white.

After Christmas Day, I will lose the FaLaLaLa pillow.
