I have this dishwasher, but not sure I understand the question. If you extend the toekick across the dishwasher, what happens when you need to have the DW serviced?

I don't have this dishwasher, but I did that on mine. There is a very small joint where the toe kick on the DW meets the toe kick on the cabinets. Nobody would ever notice it.

Yes, I plan on making the toe-kick removable for servicing. Either using Velcro or magnets etc. I could also do what tatts suggested. I would like the toe-kick to be the same material, and follow-through across the dishwasher. I was just wondering if the panel mount models make provisions for the door hinge, so when the door drops down, it does not pivot into the toe-kick that is the same depth as on the neighbouring cabinets.

I looked at a sample Bosch installation manual and they come with all sorts of different types of toe kicks (Bosch calls them toe panels) so you may not be able to answer this question until you see the dishwasher. However, the worst case is that you'd have to use the supplied panel. As tatts intimated, the dishwasher should have its own toe kick in case you need to move/remove/service the dishwasher. It can be the same material as that attached to the adjacent cabinets but you shouldn't try to have a continuous run of toe kick from the adjacent cabinets across the front of the dishwasher.

Thanks for your time in looking at the installation manual.

I have poured over every manual and dimension for the bosch series.

I found a useful document called :

" Bosch Custom Dishwasher Planning Guide "

Pasting the above in google will find the document.

No mention of how far the door pivots towards the toe-kick when it is opened.

It is a problem on some dishwashers, but there seem to be enough pictures on installs with seamless toe-kicks here on Houzz that the Bosch seems to not be a problem.

Just looking for feedback from those that own Bosch panel mounts on how they finished the toe-kick.

i have a Bosch dishwasher, not sure of the series, but may be a 300. On this model, the door pivot would be compromised if the cabinet toe kick was extended across it. I’m guessing that the door mechanism may be similar for all models.
