Ski Condo Remodel

So I came here with a design dilemma a month ago https://www.houzz.com/discussions/5810942/wall-color-naval-vs-gray

Finally, the project is done and I am quite happy with my choice of navy walls. This is a 2Br/2Ba condo in a ski resort in the south west. It is mid-range, not high-end, so I set my construction budget at $10K and redecoration budget at $3.5K. I ended up spending $12K on construction and still figuring out how much I dropped on redecorating, probably pretty close to budget net of the items that I sold.

With this budget I knew that a full kitchen/bathroom remodel wasn't in the stars, so I had to work around maple cabinets and existing bathroom fixtures. I replaced the ugly looking wall behind the fireplace and covered stopmed ceilings. I got rid of track lighting and installed recessed lights. In addition, I worked around some large furniture items (couch, beds) which would have been expensive to replace and were high quality.

I really wanted to get rid of the carpets too, my budget wouldn't allow that. However, after spending 2 weeks in there with 7F outside at night, I am glad I kept the carpets.

So, without further ado, the before and after pics
