Your art is definitely a statement. With the wenge table, I would do a darker gray on the walls, BM squirrel tail.

I strongly suggest you do not do white for your chairs but more of a linen color.

I like the idea of taking the red from the painting into the seat cushions. The warm greys and sandy colors could work but there is also a hint of golds in the highlights which could be brought out by a soft yellow or gold. Something between a buttercream and ochre not a screaming lemon yellow.

Your artwork will be a stunning focal point for your dining area. To allow it to remain the focal point, everything else you add to the space should play a supporting role; that is, allow your other furnishings - dining table, area rug, decor - to coordinate, not compete, with your artwork. In my image, I selected a gray and white area rug in an indistinct pattern. I selected a dining set with clean lines and black upholstery. Your current wall color is too harsh next to your artwork and does not provide enough contrast against your kitchen cabinets. As others have suggested, a gray wall color would correct both these issues. Adding a punch of red to your kitchen, for example, with bar stools, as suggested by MummeInteriors, will give the space a coordinated, put-together look. I would go even more modern with the table and chairs. The rug makes the room look smaller not bigger, so keep the wood floors exposed. The new look is a dark espresso floor, that would make the white walls pop.
