You can't use either of those pink leaning beiges with those green tones

The wallpaper should be removed and if funds are tight then paint the tile countertop to change the color. I'm not sure I would paint the cabinets. They don't look very expensive and keeping them dark will minimize their imperfections. Once you paint them a lighter color, you'll have to address all their shortcomings.

Your color selections depend upon all the other items in the room. Flooring, walls, furnishings etc. Show us the rest of the room.

We're less concerned with cost, and more concerned with having it done quickly. We just finished a remodel and have young children, so we would prefer any work be done in couple of days. We kind of like the character of the wall paper, although we might take it out later. We're definitely interested in painting the tile.

I also like the character of the wallpaper. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of the tile, the bar itself and the shelving. The shelving standards distract from the entire bar. Can you replace with thicker glass shelving that spans the full width of the bar? Would suggest a different countertop material and a different bar cabinet.

If you can't do anything else at this time, just paint the cabinet to match your other trim in the home, and add some good looking pulls to the drawers and doors.

The rest of the room is painted white dove.

The cabinets and paper are great! The tile is your big problem here. I wouldn’t do anything until you could replace that. Just close the door.

I think you should just embrace it until you can replace it! It's funky and will definitely be a conversation starter for guests. I say style up those shelves with some vintage barware (to go with that cool shaker on the upper shelf) and black & white photos. I would also add some big chunky handles to the drawers and the cabinet doors and just let that space be as retro and cool as it wants to be!

Looking at the new pix, I would suggest upgrading the light in the bar to an LED. Match paint for the cabs to the bi-folds and the fireplace. When you can, bring the wallpaper and counter top up to the light/bright standard of the room itself. It still looks too much like a closet with those colors. I'd prefer to see the art above the piano framed and hung 5" above the mantel. Try both lamps and the clock on the piano.
